― The Record of a Man Who Structured His Talent and Made AI His Prosthetic Leg ―
That dissonance — I finally noticed it.
Open any social feed. The same kind of writing flows past.
Correct. Clean. Easy to read.
And — belonging to no one.
I was part of it too.
I thought I was “mastering AI.”
In reality, AI was flattening me.
Let me ask you something.
The time you freed up by using AI —
what are you doing with it?
Here’s what I was doing:
Two hours freed? Write one more article.
Three hours freed? Squeeze in another job.
One day freed? Start something new.
And the result?
Only the workload grew.
Instead of becoming free,
I was more exhausted than before.
The reason is simple.
I had never decided
what I was efficient for.
AI is powerful.
It polishes your writing.
It organizes your thinking.
It handles your outreach.
But there is one thing it will never do:
Decide who you are.
Use AI without settling that,
and AI becomes nothing but an accelerator.
Without a destination.
So you just get lost — faster.
Here’s another hard truth.
Polishing your prompts won’t fix this.
I tried.
Read the books. Tested the templates.
The result was the opposite of what I expected:
- The sharper my prompts got, the more my individuality disappeared.
Why?
A prompt is a technique for producing “good output.”
But that “goodness” is decided by the average.
- What readers expect
- What the industry considers standard
- What algorithms prefer
The closer you get to those,
the closer you get to becoming
someone anyone could replace.
By now you should see it.
👉 The problem isn’t AI.
👉 The problem isn’t prompts either.
👉 The problem is that your core is undefined.
So here’s my conclusion.
AI is not a tool.
At least — not for someone
whose center hasn’t been established yet.
The more you use it as a tool,
the more you lose yourself.
Then how should you use it?
The answer is one thing:
👉 Use AI as a prosthetic leg.
A prosthetic leg is not just a device.
It fills what is missing and extends your movement.
AI is the same.
- It fills the gaps in your thinking.
- It distributes the weight of your decisions.
- It amplifies your talent.
That is what you use it for.
When I started using AI as a prosthetic leg,
I got my own outline back
for the first time.
Until then,
I was just a lost man running fast.
In the next chapter, I’ll tell you:
- How I structured my thinking.
- Why my AI team started functioning as a real team.
This is where the heart of the story begins.
